    J-Rod's actually a really decent guy. His politics are very mean, in the sense that he views politics through a lense of "dog eat dog". I don't agree with I think any view he has (maybe that Ed Snowden and Bradley Manning are anything but heroic) but I think it's unfair to denigrate him as a person.

    He does hate it, however, when I point out the US is bedfellows with some of the worst regimes and countries on earth in terms of equality and a barbaric need to execute citizens.

    Don't have links because it just came across the local news station here (here's a CBS news link), but Va's new AG just announced that he considers Va's Same Sex Marriage ban unconstitutional and while it doesn't change anything yet in terms of the Va's Evilmendment still being in place it DOES mean he won't defend the law against legal challenges (of course our GOP legislature will probably find away to inflate the budget in someway to defend it themselves, like Congress did in their failed attempt to derail Obama care in front of the Supreme Court, but that's another story), but still it's HUGE development and a stand I didn't think our new AG would necessarily take (maybe recuse himself, sure, but not go all in and say outright the Amendment's unconstitutional.)
