Pearlsaber --- love your avatar pic -- that a cool looking saber. Do you actually own that hilt? Love the detail and the uniqueness of the color.

Now I find the idea of Episode X being annouced in 2032 -- a bit odd (please note I am teasing) because Disney is boasting that they will deliver #8 in 2017 and #9 in 2019 -- they claim they can do one once every 2 years so by 2032 they will be on Ep#15 or will at least have produced 9 films (some of those may be the stand alones they are rumoring).

That trailer was a mind bender at the time. Obviously fake but exciting and took what felt like hours to buffer. I started in 1999 and signed upto the boards but never used them very often as I was using the official Star Wars site more at the time. Reflective times :)

Thank you, Gemma. It is inspired by a Ralph McQuarrie concept piece that depicted a stormtrooper with a lightsaber. Below is said piece.

separate the chatorgery's by oldey(when board came out) pt'ers (during the prequel trilogy) TCW'ers (when TCW was out). Interlude'ers(between TCW and Rebels, episode 7) Rebel'ers (when rebels comes ut and St'ers when episode 7 comes out. Do it by date joined and major event. for me I'm an interlude as I joined when nothing major was happening!

Not sure, but we did celebrate it, so there should be some threads about it...

    I don't even believe I owned a computer in 1998...
Back then, computers were still something magical.

OK, technically I am not in the least qualified to post on this thread seeing as I only joined a little over a week ago, but I can't resist...

Hooray for 90s computers with Myst games! I was the owner of one myself, and, as pathetic as it probably is to say this, they are still among my favorite games out there.

I actually didn't start really frequenting a lot of websites untill 2003. My first account on a forums was in 2004 on Newgrounds. But yeah i don't think i had An internet connection until 2002 or so. Granted i was 11 in 02. I did sign up for youtube less then a year after it started though...

My 1st computer came as a Christmas gift in '98.... I kind of regret not registering in the UBB era. :p

I started using the computer in '03. Played Civilization III, The Curse of Monkey Island, Escape from Monkey Island, Riven: The Sequel to Myst, and the great Grim Fandango. Those were the days.

I played PC* games briefly back in the day, so briefly that I forget which games they were. :p

*Aside from Oregon Trail when I was in elementary school ('92-'97) of course.
