I don't like TFU myself. But I still think it doesn't/shouldn't work that way. Canon is not just what I/you/my aunt like(s), you know.

 

Even Piell was too easy to fix; If TCW is going to kill Shaak Ti they need to up their game and disintegrate her. Then scatter her molecules into a black hole. Then have a pencil come in from off screen and erase the black hole Duck Amuck-style.

 

Actually less importantly. G-Canon vs C-Canon.

 

I should remind you that the whole point of the new Story Group is to abolish that hierarchy system.

 

But it's still here, and we don't even know if any of these sources (save for ROTS) are going to remain part of the new continuity. So yes, her appearance in ROTS is more important than her appearance in TFU, from any point of view.

 

Well, when I said "more importantly," I was thinking of "importance" timeline-wise.

I agree, but I hope they don't represent the norm we'll be seeing in a year... because it means this once great franchise could soon be a mere husk compared to what it was. And yes, I'm aware of the problems we've had since this particular show started.

 

As I think you all know, I am still pissed at what Clone Wars did to Barriss. If they do it to Shaak Ti as well, I will have lost faith in the Star Wars universe.
