I'd need to look for it in the Lit thread but I think there's a paraphrase from Leland Chee indicating that TCW was meant to be watched in whatever order the viewer wants.

I think only the Clovis arc is not at the right place as Yoda design is the old one

It's the same for me. Except that in don't but the star wars: clone wars chapters in my chronology.

One thing that a chronological sequence would "fix" (for me) is the slow moving, confusing first half of Season 3. But just on an emotional investment level, "Clone Cadets" needs to be up front. I'd like to see it even as an alternative option, which wouldn't be hard to set up. But they'll probably just list them according to air date.

I actually agree with this. The chronological order does brake up the first half of season 3's monotony. Clumping so many political episodes together like that was such a dumb move!

I they just had a pile of loose episodes that didn't fit anywhere. As far as I've been able to tell that's what happened. But it's a long slow stretch with few high points.

The lot of then were prequels/sequels to episodes that didn't need to be expanded upon in the first place. I mean, I frankly didn't need to know or want to know how Cad Bane got the lay out of the Senate building.

That was adorable but the rest of the episode was really weak. Again, slotted in sequence it makes for a cute detour and set up; but out of place it was just torture. I almost stopped watching the show -- then I saw the trailer for Mortis :)

Yeah, we have different taste. Widely different.

I was joking about the droid spa although I like Evil Plans more than many others do. But...it was definitely filler.

Oh, ha ha, one thing I'm known for is my love for the cute. I think all fantasy epics should have some cute stuff in them. I'm a Droid-Ewok-Gungan lovin' kinda fan. Of course what makes it fun is to contrast it against the epic, mythological and tragic. It's like a whiskey-coke, a great combination!

I actually had a 150,000 word novel published that's about cute little animal characters - but by the end of the novel there's been massive carnage, empires crumble, a fascist police state rises and falls and God dies ha ha ha!

Its what Threepio and Artoo went to the market to get for the cake for Padme's banquet...it was just all around a ridiculous plot device.

LOL, but it was how trivial going shopping for fruit was that made Evil Plans fun. It take shopping and turned it into this ridiculous ordeal. I swear, 3PO and R2 are like the Rocko and Heffer of Stat Wars. Mercy Mission did this much better though. I still laugh all the way during that episode. Its a shame the droid arc couldn't even capture the smaller crumb of that Rocko's Modern style of comedy. Instead it just went for Looney Toons like the Fairly Odd Parents staff was writing it while listening to Wrecking Ball on the loop.

I remember the lull this board was in after Supply Lines up until this trailer was released. One of my favorite trailers, I'm not Mortis' biggest fan but the trailer was nicely edited and you can never go wrong with Williams' music.
