Considering he's a fundie I'd say he's probably a conservative and an mra. He probably doesnt like the libertarian positions on social issues or that they are generally against having a huge kilitary.

Libertarians also tend to oppose things like compassion or basic human decency, which even the most ardent conservatives of any religious extraction find increasingly distasteful.

On the other hand, to Rogue's point, "men's rights" activism is a phenomenon that largely consists of people of immense social privilege managing to act even more outrageously aggrieved by small balances to their traditional power. That same dynamic, in a general sense, is more or less a core principle for libertarian behavior. When two things blur like this, it's incredibly hard to distinguish between them given such thin evidence.

    Whoa whoa!
Totally getting me mixed up with someone else. Not conservative. NOT a fundie. Not religious, I'm agnostic! Not an MRA. Libertarian leaning because very anti-war/anti-military buildup/anti-empire building and very pro personal freedom. Came to the Libertarian camp from the Dem camp not form the Rep camp.

LIbertarianism is great; it's basically an ideology predicated on exceptionally mean-spirited selfishness but with a thin veneer of legitimacy.

    Adorable.

Yeah, but the numbers debate is one versus zero, so at least there's a lot less math.

Exactly how is "lets not just go around blowing up other countries for no reason and also lets make sure everyone has the same set of rights" mean-spirited or selfish?

"Ayn Rand's philosophy of Objectivism has been and continues to be a major influence on the libertarian movement, particularly in the United States. Many libertarians justify their political views using aspects of Objectivism"

Yes, there is some disagreement but you'd be probably a minority at this point...

How quaint... a minority minority. It's like a gay black police captain...

I'll take that. A gay, black police officer would be fabulous.
Rather be a minority than part of the dumb majority.
