PT Favorite character who died in the prequels

I would go with Plo Koon. He was a great warrior with great skill but didn't get any exposure in the movies

 

Jango if he had been on it but voted kit because when he smiles during the battle in AOTC it makes me smile. My 3 year old nephew calls him octopus head Jedi and Kit is his favorite character, he only has seen the TCW cartoon it will be a very sad day in a few years when he is old enough to watch ROTS.

 

Can't wait for some casting news to be confirmed.

 

Out of that list Qui-Gon Jinn, otherwise I'd say Maul. The cool thing about Qui-Gon was that he wasn't afraid to question things. He said Obi was headstrong, but really he was the one who was headstrong.

This is what I was about to say about Qui-Gon. One of my favorite characters who I wished would have survived.

I voted for Qui-Gon, though I do not care about him that much, to be honest.

 

Qui-Gon. One of the main reasons TPM is great, and probably my fave Jedi besides Luke Skywalker. And his death is so symbolic, it could have turned out very differently if he was alive.

Darth Maul. His death was both bad and good. He looked like a fantastic villain, but it was his brief and stylish appearance that made him the most iconic character from the prequels. Qui-Gon Jinn... now this is the character who should have lived. I mean... come on. And yes, Mace Windu is the most badass character from the PT, and maybe from the whole saga.

 

Has to be Qui-Gon for me. A great portrayal by Neeson, and a really good character.

If Jango Fett was on the list however, he'd get my vote - he was everything we wanted Boba to be and we didn't see enough of him sadly.

 

I would have voted for dooku but he was not on here so Mace is for me.

 

Qui-Gon, my reaction is exactly the same as Obi Wan's, maybe even worse.

On the Sith side I think Maul and Dooku.

 

I voted Qui-Gon. But my favourite was poor ol' Daultey Dofine

The first time I saw Plo Koon was in a very old Star Wars game for the Play Station 1. I loved him. I thought he looked so great and I was so excited to maybe see him in the movies, only to be disappointed. I share your opinion.

He did have a whole movie dedicated to him...

 

Exactly, not enough.

Obi-Wan had 4 movies, plus force ghost in another 2

Anikan had six if you include his Vadar years

Luke had three

ect.

 

Maybe the poor old janitor who was on the ship that Anakin blew up.
