We thought feathers were limited to theropods related to birds----new fossils challenge this. We now have entire fossils showing fuzzy integument---like this one....here's the article for this if you're a nerd

The point is, we don't know how dinos looked like, and skin impressions say little about the whole story. I agree that in larger dinos, the integument was probably lost----to what extent we have no idea.
Maybe only the offspring of these dinos had it, and was lost as they grew?

And to relate this to SW....there are always those "continuity" issues. In science..there are continuity issues all the time and some people don't like the idea of fuzzy dinos, esp in popular culture.

"FUZZY DINOSAUR.....DOES IT CONTRADICT THE EU"

    edit: fixed :p

Close, but you made the mistake of adding a question mark.

Here is a more recent article that says that most dinosaurs had scale or armor.

Though in any case people are still looking into.

Which just shows that real life is full of crappy retcons and has terrible continuity. My suspension of disbelief is ruined!

No, that's a production still of Jurassic World. I think Ian Malcolm is manning the stegosaurus with Dr. Grant.

    You're missing out. Google "Dino-Riders."

We need this in star wars badly. Nothing better encapsulates what Star Wars is better than that picture.

Star Wars needs way more Jurassic Park references, as far as I'm concerned.
