A/V STAR WARS REBELS (show's over, spoilers allowed)

Okay, so House of Cards, but animated and for kids.

 

Actually, I hoped that the live-action series they had promised would be like that. I would have loved seeing a live-action political series with Palpatine, Mon Mothma, Bail Organe and so on.

 

Well yeah, so di I. But that would be a more adult-oriented show. And it would have focused a lot on the criminal underworld, where more of the action happens.

 

I hear the political aspects of the prequels were the most popular.

 

Considering what people thought of the romance and comedy, I'd bet that the political aspects actually were the most popular.

Not at all. I also think that they should have shown more of it.

I would argue that the lightsaber duels were the best part of the prequels, because as much as people protest that there was no emotional weight to them, the same is true of the Blur produced trailers for SWTOR that everyone was so excited about, and rather sillily compared to the prequels when you could just as easily make a cutup of the prequels for the lightsaber duels that would be very similar to those trailers.

 

Hmm good point but the trailer did have less random spinning and stupid flipping so that was a plus. But yeah I admit i loved the SWTOR Trailers, they were awesome, I would kill for an animated show with that quality and yeah I know its too expensive

 

I maintain that Palpatine/UnlimitedPowah is the best-done romance in Star Wars.

I thought there was a lot of emotional weight to the Obi-Wan/Darth Maul and Obi-Wan/Anakin duels.

But I think the best part of the prequels was Ian McDiarmid's performance as Palpatine.

 

well but the duels in the trailer were actually cool. the ones in the prequels were mostly terrible.

 

Check out the Holonet in SWTOR, Korriban is still there, it's just not listed as the Sith homeworld anymore.

 

Well Korriban will still be known as the official Sith watering hole. They can't take that away from us! ...right?
