Moron, the planet of the Midiclorians, it has a certain ring to it. Also home to the indigenous population of the Simpletons.

 

It says: "The earliest Sith lived on the red, dusty planet of Korriban, determined to grow strong despite the inhospitable climate." The earliest Sith.

 

At least that made sense, having a cantina in the spaceport. In SWTOR, the cantina's in the Sith Academy.

 

Makes me wonder what a Sith hangover would look like....

Good point. If some are derived from Latin, as it seems, they translate to names that sound a lot like cartoon villains.

All of that is to say that I can see no major change in the meaning conveyed by the SWTOR Holonet.

But would the episode even 'use' the red Sith species? I wonder if they know something we don't.

 

Filoni probably knows as much about the red Sith as he knows about Dathomirian Light side witches.

Filoni was once asked something about involving the red Sith, and he replied, "I guess they (the Sith) started out as a species." or something similar.

 

They were eventually wiped out by Ahsoka.
