    I'm talking about TCW S6.:)

But I also think that means we'll get more of the mystical in the ST.

Just out of curiousity, what's Qui-Gon doing there?

Looked at the picture 100 times and never noticed Qui-Gon. [face_laugh]

And what's that pic from anyway?

Did Yoda have a discussion with ghost Obi-Wan before Luke arrived on Dagobah? How did Yoda know the son of Skywalker was en route?

"This one, a long time have I watched."

Perhaps it was all the way up to leaving Hoth.

Stars, I just noticed Qui-Gon there for the first time as well! I think that only strengthens the link between Qui-Gon and Dagobah that we will see in the Yoda arc in the "Lost Missions" of TCW.

Furthermore, in the Clone Wars micro-series Yoda has a vision where he sees Qui-Gon taking a young Anakin to the Dark Side Cave, so that the boy may face his fears:

I had that thought for a KOTOR-based movie, but it definitely work here. If enough time has gone by, who knows what Sith-apologists and revisionists would have shown up by then.

I would expect the Sith to be reviled 30 years after ROTJ because of the Invasion of Naboo, the Clone Wars, and the Empire. No apoligism and revisionism would make people forget those events.

How about a superweapon that makes planets strong with the dark side instead of destroying planets?

Sort of similar to @purplerain's thinking, I'm wondering if the ST villain will have any desire to destroy planets strong in the lightside of the Force.

I'm not sure if this makes sense or not, but if life makes the Force, then maybe planets thriving with life might be seen to be something that empowers the Jedi. Maybe the villain would reason that keeping places strong in the darkside but getting rid of the lightside places would tip the balance towards the Sith forever?

    Just speculatin'.

Life creates the Force, and makes it grow. Yoda didn't specify Light or Dark, so I believe destroying life weakens both sides. One of the reasons the Dark side is bad is that it is self-destructive.

If you believe certain darksiders - then survival instinct is of the Dark Side - with "aggression" being inherent to all life:

"The Jedi called the Bogan the dark side, but it is the side of vitality, of purpose. For what does life do? Whatever it must to survive. It thrums with the desire to compete, to overcome, to better itself. Is that selfish? Those who must fight to survive would laugh at the question. Striving, besting - these desires can lead to hate and to war, it is true. But they also drive love, passion, and creation itself. That is the Bogan - the power that drives all life, from one-celled organisms to the leviathans of deep space."

There can never truly be balance if one side is hellbent on destruction.

So they claim the Dark side is all about survival through competition? Then I guess the Light side is about survival through cooperation. Well, I know which side I'd choose.

Rehashing Babylon 5 is not necessarily a bad thing.

Having now seen the first part of the Yoda TCW arc (including Dagobah), I am convinced that those concepts will play a role in the ST (Living Force, origin of the force etc.)
