Which means it probably just predates the Ruusan Reformation. No reason to push the issue much further.

Lightsaber colors are one thing, but I will never, ever understand the obsession to details like lightsaber hilts. I mean, when a guy is swinging around a freaking lazer sword, you mean to tell me people are looking at the hilt of the thing? :p

There's *some* truth in that article. Some. But the rest of it...

I live dangerously. To quote one Matthew Stover, "If you're gonna play Poke the Bear, you better keep in mind the bear doesn't give a **** it's just a game."

Or to quote Face Loran: "He's a demolitions expert. He likes playing with things that can blow up in his face."

I think I'm going to watch the Yoda arc tonight (I mean the final three episodes, not the Sifo-Dyas one) once it goes up, given my interest in the lore implications.

Supposedly Hamill is voicing a Darth and/or an EU character, and my initial guess would be that it's Darth Bane, but I suppose it could be Darth Plagueis as well. Those are the two non-film Darths derived from G-canon IIRC. I NEED TO KNOW.

If Mark Hamill is voicing Darth Bane, I'll seriously consider rereading the Bane novels just to hear his voice for the character. And I didn't even like those novels.

It could be Ruin, I suppose. Or Revan. We have TCW models for Bane and Revan after all...

    But Ruin would be amazing.

I half suspect it will be Plagueis designed to look exactly like Exar Kun. And Filoni will say, "Hey EU fans, I know Plagueis is a little different -- George wanted it that way and all -- but hey, aren't you happy? I convinced George to let us use an Old Republic Sith! And look -- double-bladed lightsaber because he's the one who taught Darth Maul how to make one!"

    Don't disappoint me, TCW!

What if they have Darth Bane rocking an 80s hair metal mane instead of bald.

If it's an EU Sith that looks completey different...

Someone just performed a horrible Sith alchemy experiment on them, or they botched one on themselves. ;)

Also, **** the haters. I am enjoying my marathon and am excited for the end tonight. I'm honestly glad the show ended (I think this era is too crowded), but I am enjoying the more full era now that I've got my timeline set. Far as I'm concerned, everything works out more or less well enough.

Rebels will probably be okay too.

Ep VII on the other hand... :(

It says a lot about how much they've saturated the market with Star Wars material over the past fifteen years that the Clone Wars era is so crowded now.

2 tv series', book series', comic series' over the last 11-12 years trying to fit in a 3 year period......................
Much easier when it was just one. TCW should have been the Dark Times.

Someone posted this review in the TV thread.

    http://aceofgeeks.blogspot.com/2014/03/the-final-season-of-clone-wars-preview.html

So it's been confirmed in a Q&A after the Yoda Arc. Moraband is indeed (probably) another name for Korriban. Lucas felt Korriban sounded too much like Coruscant, and so requested that it be changed. Chee reiterated that a planet can have multiple names, and seems to confirm that future canon will probably rectify it as a multiple names issue.

Silly Lucas. You just had to go for one last unneeded change, didn't you?

    Edit: Sniped.

    Kark it all. [face_bleh]

I mean, seriously. Korriban. Coruscant. Korr-ih, Cor-uh. That's about as close as they sound. Scant. Ban. How the kriff does that sound close. Lucas.

By this logic Malastare sounds too similar to Mustafar and the latter should've been named Boosterfat.

Can we please nickname it Boosterfat now?
