Full Series [Speculation] The fate of Mother Talzin

What will happen to her.

Can a mod put this under the clone wars.

 

Sidious will slaughter her in that upcoming Darth Maul comic.

 

Hopefully she will last beyond the Original Trilogy.

That's what I'm hoping. I hate it when loose ends aren't tied up.

When she dies, her entire body should dissolve into green mist like Savage's did, starting from her skin out, leaving nothing but a charred, black skeleton behind.

 

Mace will decapitate her?

Or Jar-Jar will drop a statue on her head. I'm good with either.

 

I just want to know about her plan.

 

I think this is a possibility.

 

I want her gone along with Darth Maul. Dead as in done capish. Onward to the sequels and the end of all this mumble jumble crap. More pew pew and less, "Power, Unlimeted power."

After the lense beam thing kills the cult leader dude, Jar Jar stumbles back and knocks that mystic orb doohicky off its column and it shatters, leaking Talzin's lifeforce goop everywhere, thus killing her. Death by Jar Jar clumsiness.

And if that's not how it all went down, then may God strike me dead.

Idea: can a mod make this thread say [spoilers] in stead of [speculation]? after all i think it's safe to discuss at this point...

I don't think she's dead, just pulling another one of her disapearing tricks. We've seen her evaporate into mists several times before. She also looked pretty peeved when the orb disintergrated in her hand. Her shrieking was probably just her throwing a temper tantrum.

 

Very valid point. I still think I'm right though. If only because the idea amuses me.

 

I agree because how else would she in up in Darth Maul son of Dathomir.

 

It did seem like her body was fading from existence, though.

I don't know, and maybe I'm wrong, but it's possible she was someone that died a long time ago but found a way to return in physical form somehow. And this ritual might just be a key to how she returned, too. It's possible that her life force was so weak at this point, that if they didn't succeed with the ritual, her physical form would fade and diminish from the temporal world forever.

 

You're making me want a novel on Talzin.

 

Is it possible that Sidious deliberately created a rivalry between Talzin and Dooku?

the trivia gallery on starwars.com for the part 2 of the arc confirms "Her story is not over yet." The Ep gallery just says "The smoke clears. Mace stands with his lightsaber, ready to continue his battle with the Nightsister. But a forlorn Talzin stands before the shattered remains of the living sphere. She shrieks and then sublimates, turning into a windswept green mist."
It could be the end for her in the maul arc comic though.

Well, with this and the previous arc on Dathomir -- they could very well have eliminated the Night Sisters 100% -- seems like that was the goal.

Extermination of a quasi-powerful group in the GFFA - which fits for Palps design quite nicely.

 

It was probably part of his plan to get rid of her.
