ST Carrie Fisher (Leia) in Episode VII (Sad News posted on Page 269)

Yes, I adore her 'I know' moment with Han - I thought it was a fitting turn around.

Also I was very thankful that Princess Leia was a lot better shot than Camille was in the Blue Brothers.

 

You know, as much as I like Leia, I really don't wanna see her being able to use the Force, at all. It'd be so out of character for her to have a lightsaber or to be able to move stuff around. I'd rather see her as an old politician, who's worked hard to bring peace to the galaxy after the fall of the Empire and who's done a lot for the New Republic. I guess it'd make more sense for her to go back to politics after the fall of the Empire, in my honest opinion. But, hey, that's just me.

 

It would, however, fulfill these RoTJ statements:

"Pass on what you have learned."
"You have that power, too. In time, you'll learn to use it as I have."

 

IMO, ROTJ perfectly set up Leia being able to use the Force in future movies. Heck, we've already seen her use it a few times already. Things like using a lightsaber are only a natural extension of that and the fulfillment of the promise that "In time you'll learn to use it as I have."

Let's keep the lightsabers to a minimum.

 

And technology in general. The new Jedi order should be amish.

Nice interview. No new reveals but still good to see her out and about.

 

Ha ha, I love her response to the Episode VII question: "I don't know that I am….we're not supposed to….I'm the worst person, don't ask me things!" Ha ha.

You know, I wish they would just confirm the big 3 already. Not only would it give me peace of mind, but then they could finally be free to talk about it even a *little* bit. I mean no spoilers obviously, but just a "Yeah, I'm psyched to fill Leia's buns again!" would suffice.

Oh, and she looked great. Get that woman into a senate robe and drop her onto the Millennium Falcon set. She's ready!

Wouldn't it be interesting if Harrison suddenly let himself go and played a heavyset Han Solo? I'm just a fan of unexpectedness is all.

 

Regarding the video of her....Lol. she just cant keep quiet about it even after a denial. One thing that strikes me is when she says, "I dont know." That strikes me as similar to Mark And Bill Dee`s responses recently. Didnt Billy Dee say " I have no idea"? Almost as if they have been told to do the old " I dont know" line, which is basically pleading the 5th.
