I'm not particularly a fan of this song, but I enjoy the irony of the lyric "Cuz I'm not planning on going solo..." Then what happened? He ditched Wham and went solo!

 

Lot's of great songs in here! Some I'd forgotten about (and I consider my self an 80s aficionado). Going to be adding about a dozen new (old) songs to the iPod today for sure.

 

Anyone who's seen Girls Just Wanna Have Fun starring Sarah Jessica Parker will remember this one.



Here's one for my fellow Monster Squaders.

 

I still can't hear this song and not think of those commercials Burger King had with it in the '90s, though....

You guys have brought back my childhood! Here's a healthy dose of Cafe 80's- where's it's always morning, even in the afternoon... after this, let's go outside and play with our He-Man guys and Hot Wheels.

 

You know, this thread actually represents what MTV used to be.

 

Damn. I'd forgotten it had come out then. A lot of the songs are more associated with the 90's than the tail end of the 80's*.

Of course I also forgot a lot of George Michael's early solo stuff came out in the late 80's too.
