Eh Jorus wasn't too different from the other rogues in the Jedi Order. You have Sifo-Dyas who claims that a great war is coming bad the Jedi will have to prepare to fight.

You have Dooku who keeps saying that the Jedi shouldn't be bound by the Senate, and they should take matters into their own hands.

And then you have Qui-Gon who insists he's found the Chosen One and that he must be trained, despite being too old,

C'Boath was just one of many eccentric Jedi Masters that the Council tolerated, unaware that he was on a path to the Dark side. The Council had no idea Dooku was on the Dark side until it was too late.

I liked Jorus being almost as bat**** crazy as Joruus because it was completely unexpected.

Mmm, I posted this in the TCW's Image Caption thread as a joke, but I think this is almost eerie. Remember Krynda Draay's http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Prophecy_of_the_Five]Prophecy[/url] of the Five? The prophecy that was revealed to be about Lucien Draay, Zayne Carrick, Q'Anilia, Gryph, and Haazen? Well, I think the writers accidentally wrote TCW in such a way that Krynda's prophecy could've been talking about this point in time, too. Check it:

"And in the time of tribulation to come, there will be five…

    One for the darkness…

    and one for the light.

Another from the darkness stands in the light,

while one from the light stands in the darkness.

The last one stands apart from all.

And between them… between them… all that has been built will fall."

I just meant Ventress was "one from the darkness," being one of Dooku's Dark Acolytes, and she "stands in the light," taking the "high road," at least for her, by leaving him behind and becoming a bounty hunter, later even helping out Ahsoka. Bo-Katan would've fit too, starting out as a terrorist member of Death Watch, and eventually ending up as the leader of an anti-Sith resistance who rescued Obi-Wan from prison, and telling him to bring the Republic despite the ramifications of that, thus "standing in the light."

Yeah, I'm pretty sure JJM's prophecy in the KOTOR comics has nothing to do with Tolkien beyond sounding ominous.

How about this from Dark Lords of the Sith 3: Descent to the Dark Side:

"My master's master told me about the Hundred-Year Darkness... and the Great Hyperspace War. He taught me how the agents of the dark side do their evil works. The dark siders act in complete secrecy, until the leaders of society have fallen to their evil seductions. Then they strike with great suddenness, bringing down civilizations it took aeons to build."

I didn't know that DLOTS begins with Exar as Supreme Chancellor and Ulic as Vice Chancellor. Still, DLOTS3 is the very first appearance of Korriban Moraband, placing it among the greatest comics of all time.

Nothing changes with Alpha's fate. If anything, he's responsible for helping to train future arc troopers like Fives on Kamino and could've been in influence for troopers like Rex. It could even be debated that he's one of the reasons so many clones adopted names (and the dialogue in Republic suggests this... though the trend must've spread on clone twitter like wildfire...)

After Obsession, he probably went back to become an instructor again, but off the battlefield due to his injuries. That could be assumed both before and after the timeline rewrite.

Oh, so the original prophecy is from JJM, well in that case I have no problem with it.

P.S. Someone should photoshop a Kamino facebook/twitter equivalent with everyone changing their names at once...

I thought it was implied that Alpha was onboard the same medical ship that Ventress hijacked. Thus before the timeline rewrite he would've gone where she did. Afterwards, I guess, you could say that he went back. But beforehand it looked like there was going to be a very ticked-off ARC Trooper living on the Outer Rim against his will. :p

TCW brings out the worst in me, so any time TCW is connected to anything, I have a really bad tendency to overreact.

That might actually be my favorite quote in all of the EU.

PS: Alpha post-Obsession should not have use of his legs, correct?

Technically no. However, in the Republic Commando series, Niner's spine was paralyzed after falling from a bridge, and with bacta and temporary braces to help him walk, he was able to recover and walk normally. I'd imagine they could do something similar for Alpha.
