not really. i dont get hangovers in the traditional sense. i just feel really tired and maybe a bit shakey the next day, no nausea or headaches

Did you guys do a drinking game to it? If so, can you tell me the rules in case I go see it?

 

I didn't go with Rogue #10. And I really don't drink that much. Alcohol and I have never had a good, working relationship. :-(

A guy I know from church asked me if I wanted to go see it. I said, "whatever." I mean, I figured that I'd get a few laughs anyway. Then he said, "Ah, it's probably gonna suck." And I said, "Yeah, definitely." So, we watched the Shawshank Redemption instead. #noregrets

 

The only thing I know about the Shawshank Redemption is there were some prisoners in the jail down the road from my place who attempted an escape similar to that movie.

I realize your point with this quip was to convey that you know more about Hitchens than me. I won't contest that. However, you will have to refigure it if you want it to actually be a coherent remark. I have never said I disagreed with every single thing that Hitchens has ever said. I have particular issues with specific comments made by the man. Those are all the comments that I am therefore objecting to and explaining my objection about. I'm not sure what else would even be possible to do. I can't very well talk about things as being problematic if I don't in fact see them as such.

I also realize that sometimes ambiguous or incomplete quotations can be misunderstood. However, his last remarks were whole and direct. Do you have some problem with how I interpreted his presentation of the Iraq war during the selection I quoted? If so what was it? I'd be quite happy to be found in error but I would appreciate knowing what that error was.
