Just looking at the photobucket, we are at least 3 or 4 events out. . . when I get some spare time (HAHAHAHHAHAHAA!) I will update them with the latest photos.

 

Yay Comic Con, . . .That was fun! I had a good day, I got I high five from The Todd, from scrubs. Also by chance I got to hear live, recited from memory, "The Countries of the world, by Yakko" by Rob Paulsen, IT WAS EPIC!
Sadly I was not there long, and only saw a few people that I know. Nice to catch up.
How was everyone elses day?

We are getting Supanova in June at Homebush and Oz ComicCon Sydney edition in September. There's still hope for us

EDIT: Not to mention that select cinemas in the country are holding a Star Wars marathon over 2 days on May 3rd/4th.

I'm looking forward to the news tomorrow! Apparently there's an extra special breakfast happening with OT cast members in appearance.

We probably won't get solid news until 4th May weekend or they might keep hold of it until Comic Con. At least they did confirm that there were some 2nd unit filming but the main principle photography hasn't started yet.

Apparently it will be Star Wars Day weekend, will you be going to any of the marathon screenings?

 

I was going to go to both, the Pre-and Originals, but then the Medieval Fair is on the same weekend, so I will give up Qui-gon to see the medieval Fair instead, and then enjoy the Originals on the big screen.

Got a distinction for it, although it matters little as on the certificate at the end of the course is ALL pass Achieved or Failed *sigh* but I am happy its a good mark.

Aww… why they have to put awesome things on the same weekend as more awesome things. We got Free Comic Book Day happening on Saturday but I'll be going to PT screenings.

Great work Kooky! Thank you for sharing them Distinction is great but it might count for when you are getting your graduation and you might get a top of class achievement type thing.

The texturing turned out great and it also shows for your models too. Which program have you been using? I've been taught Lightwave and Maya.

Maya is pretty good, much more user friendly than Lightwave.

Comic Con is in September for Sydney. Since it is the first time for it to be here, I am not sure what to expect. Supanova is coming up in about a month time.

Those comics are a great find! I need to read those.

I've been working on one of my character's performance in my animation but at that stage when feeling sluggish. Might pack it in and continue tomorrow when more refreshed. I am glad I am sticking to traditional animation as has a great look to it and breaking away from all the others in my year that just focus on 3D modelling/animation.

 

Yeah! thats amazing! I think a lot of people in my class would be all 3D. . .

I have never seen Crayon Dragon before! That is so good! So is Paperman which was shown before Wreck-it Ralph.

That is the way I am going with mine, kinda like this too but without the physical props.
