I thought I spelled it wrong at first (Intemet instead of Internet), but now I see what you did there. Yeah, it started to get buggy on me. The only reason I kept it so long was I had all my bookmarks on it.

I've had a similar experiences with Explorer being just plain buggy and slow. At work, where I use a PC, I've taken to using pretty much exclusively Firefox. At home, on my Mac, I've been fine with just Safari so far (though when I was in grad school Firefox always worked best if I had to do anything with the university library proxy server).

When I was kindergarten teacher in a big international school for 6 months I had to deal with a MAC. Me being used to MICROSOFT stuff & a Dutch husband who loves LINUX surfaces on his computer screen I was slightly overtaxed.

Now I work in a new kindergarten, which is waaaay smaller and offers no computer lessons to kiddos under 5 years of age at all. (But "chill-out" right after lunch AND cleaning their teeth, including reading sessions from books, listening to child audio plays and/ or being introduced to several music styles.)

Azure, that sounds wonderful! Wonderful! :) Children should learn to stretch their imaginations and know how to play and be carefree without needing to be tied to a gadget :p That'll come soon enough.

Agreed. I think the U.S. educational system could take lessons from the European model.

Yes, this is why I come up with more child friendly SW items these days. This is what I have drawn in the semi dark, a child CD cover in front of my nose. Okay, I altered that cover:

Hello, I'm a north of 30 Fanfiction writer and thought I'd poke my nose in and say hello to everyone. I've been working on a Kingdom hearts/Star Wars crossover of late.

Hello there, Theodore Hawkwood, welcome to the party.

That's an interesting avatar you have there, any special significance to it?

Goodwood: It's a picture of a Spetsnaz team preparing for a mission in Afghanistan circa early 1980s from a wikipedia article.

For significance it was inspiration for a Star Wars/Kingdom Hearts fanfiction I'm writing where an original character of mine had served in the spetsnaz.

Ever had the Jelly Belly cream-soda-flavored jelly beans? They're fantastic. Very vanilla-y. :)
