ST Planets in the ST

I sort of agree in that it was a scary and mysterious place in ANH... but I think they kind of destroyed it in ROTJ making it far too pantomime like. It lost it's appeal then. I liked it in AOTC, with the Tusken camp and Shmi's death (more danger with actual consequence). but yes, I think it actually appeared far too civilised and populated in TPM. Hardly a back water planet and more like a central hub location.

 

Exactly. It doesn't feel like a backwater planet anymore. It seems like everybody's been there too, which sort of ruins the whole point of it being obscure and unimportant.

 

If they're going back to Tatooine, then we won't see anything new because everyone knows Star Wars movies take place on just one planet.

Dagobah. Maybe the cave is Plagueis's lair?

 

That could be an interesting plot twist, Yoda discovering Plagueis' "grave" and standing guard over it for twenty plus years. Maybe Yoda knows he isn't truly dead, maybe he doesn't.

 

i kind of like that.

 

I'd love it if someone goes into the cave and encounters Plagueis and thinks it's an illusion, but it turns out to be real.

 

Hi everyone! This is my first post on the forum, very pleased to be here and i cant wait to get more involved in the community. Found this earlier today so I'm gonna guess that Ep. VII will go to numerous planets with a focus on Hoth and Tatooine.
