Nets should win that series handily. The Raps are a team that vastly over achieved given their talent. I mean, they went into the season trying to tank, but ended up winning way more games then everyone thought due to a weak conference. I agree that the Nets could beat the Heat, but they are not the only team. I think the Bulls could beat them as well, and wouldn't be surprised to see them take the whole conference. Thibs, Noah, DJ "baller" Augustin + chip on their shoulders = bad news for the rest of the Eastern Conference.

Yeah if the Bulls and Pacers face each other in round 2, that series is going to 7 games.

As a Rockets fan, that game put me in a doubly ****y mood. One for blowing that game, and because of the friggin Nba scheduling that damn game at almost 9pm Houston time. Some Rockets fans have to get up at 4:30 a-holes!

They didn't really have a choice, re: scheduling. Three of the four Western home courts were in the same time zone (OKC, Houston and San Antonio). One of them had to be late.

I get that, it just seems that Houston always gets the short end of the stick on those things. I remembers Astros division series games were always day games that started while I was in school.

So last night Aldridge and Lillard became the first duo to score 45 and 30 in a playoff game since some dudes named Jordan and Pippen.

I thought to myself when Perkins hit the shot that sent the game into OT, "He's still an overrated hack." :p And of course that 4-point play by Durant... oh wow. It'll be remembered, but differently (duh) since they lost.

Not liking Golden State thus far... they just can't get going on offense, and Klay Thompson's foul trouble. Yikes. The Clippers are in too much of a groove.

Also, I noticed a peculiar sight right next to the Clippers bench, to the left (on TV):

That fellow (obviously an old pic), a Lakers courtside regular, sitting right next to the Clippers... how dare he!
    :p

Home court advantage doesn't mean anything this year, evidently. There's going to be lots of exciting series, and this is just the first round!

Crazy to think tonight is already a must win for the Pacers, but it is. I think they even need to win big, and get done swagger back, but do so within their team environment that had them excelling at the start of the season.

It's not about who wins and loses. It's about who looks awesome in the highlight reels.
