I don't care consistently great the Spurs are, Jeff Hornacek ought to have been this season's COY for the amazing job he did in Phoenix. Ridiculous.

Whew. Heat were making me a bit nervous for a second there. Home court advantage protected.

Sorry, bud. Born in Miami. I suffered quietly through the Alonzo morning years. Don't try to rob me of my joy now.

So this LaMarcus Aldridge guy is pretty good. 46 points in game 1, 39 (so far) in game 2. I have never seen such a dominant performance.

As good a scorer as James Harden is, he could not care less about playing defense. Sucks saying that as a Rockets fan. Also Jeremy Lin is terrible. He shows a lot of flashes, but makes SO MANY stupid inexcusable mistakes.

Aldridge is just out of control bad ass. The guy has done everything you could ask of him.

    Back to RIP City.

So the Pacers are down 2 games to 1.

And OKC is now also down 2 games to 1.

Can't say I saw that coming...

A good first three quarters for the Grizzlies tonight - then they proceed to give me an infarction the rest of the way. Still, all that matters in the playoffs is the "W". [face_dancing]

Golden State's got offensive issues again, and DeAndre is too much for them to handle in the paint (Griffin too). Yikes.

    OKC :(

I'm just as surprised the Wizards are up 2-0. I live in DC and they are preempting Mike and Mike for a Wizards play-off special. I live in DC and this have never happened. They take Mike and Mike off the air for every small Redskins announcement, but never the Wizards. Big news down here. Too bad I'm not a Wizards fan :p

I'm not surprised at all about OKC being down. The Grizz are a better team 1 through 12. They out hustle and out muscle the Thunder, get way more production from their bench, and play better defense. They showed it last year and they are showing them this year. Now Clay Bennett is seeing the price he's paying for being cheap and trading away his shot at a potential dynasty.

I saw OKC play this year here in DC. They never once held a lead, I'm not surprised either. I'm only a fan of theirs because they are from OK ;)

I think most people fail to realize how important matchup is in the NBA. No matter how good your team is, if you have a seven game series against a team that you matchup with poorly, you're going to struggle. I don't care who has more talent. The Thunder and Pacers are in bad matchup situations. The Pacers SHOULD have enough talent to overcome that and win the series, but they have other disfunctions going on.
