    I could go for a Lando and Salacious B. Crumb team up that reveals that Salacious survived the sail barge explosion and it gave him the power of speech in the same voice that he has in From Star Wars to Jedi.

    Yeah, they'll either all be new canon (likely) or all Legends. Unless, of course, someone's in the mood to play with our minds. :p

    It does seem very clunky to have two books in a trilogy not-canon and the other canon.

    I don't get it, anyway. Why don't they just make everything that doesn't explicitly contradict existing media or hamstring the forthcoming movies canon?

    Considering how the first two books work perfectly fine as OT-era novels (and were possibly/probably written with the mindset that anything outside of the six movies would be kicked out of canon soon), yet they're still being considered Legends now while the third book is still canon as it hasn't been released yet... well, if that's not lazy, I'm not sure what is.

    As the tweet said, its just timing, so basically everything old is out, everything new is in, so doesn't sound like they bothered looking at much stuff in detail for whether it actually fit into movie canon or not.
