That whole action sequence is too cool for words.

Could be my favourite burst of action in the whole saga.

Many great visuals on Naboo. Such a beautiful planet. And while we didn't see much of it, the images of Alderaan at the end of ROTS are breathtaking.

Mustafar. Mustafar has a post-apocalyptic feel, symbolizing the state of the galaxy and of Anakin.

This is my favorite shot too! (Slight correction: *Vader :p)

I also love the symmetry in that scene between it and ANH. He looks out in a dirty, clouded sky to an eclipsed sun, compared to Luke's clear sky with two suns. It's something you don't really think about until you've seen it a million times as I have

The scene where Jango unleashes his flamethrower on Mace Windu who does a motherloving jedi-leap into the arena. I love the visual of the flame whipping up after Mace and the image of him flipping in the air and deflecting laserbolts in mid-air. Of course I couldn't find a picture of the actual leap but these pics sufficiently illustrate what I'm on about.

I also like this deleted scene from AOTC of Obi-Wans jedi starfighter extending from the temple wall.

    From ROTS:

Ah yes, the senate. The monumental, gaping pit that resides at the heart of galactic democracy. A sight that we have become quite familiar with over the course of three prequel films, acting as the host to several of the more mundane (but crucial) scenes in the films.

But what's this? Down at the bottom, at the very center, are two tiny pillars of light. One green, one red. Both struggling for dominion. And everything that this chamber represents, all that it stands for, is at stake in the clash of these two lightsabers.

This, and the sequence following it where Palpatine litterally tosses away the senate pods, are moments that have never, ever failed to "get" to me. Just an absolutely beautiful arrangement of meaningful, beautifully arranged images and a pulsing, wonderfully monsterous score.

Palpatine literally trashing democracy is very chilling. An unstoppable force. That crazy closeup of Yoda escaping in a tunnel, breathless, even frightened....powerful stuff.

I enjoyed the setting for the Obiwan - Jango fight on Kamino. So atmospheric.

The end of AOTC, with the official party looking out over the massing forces, prototypes for the OT.

    The Senate chamber (above).

Obiwan looking on after delivering Luke to the Lars.

    Coruscant night life.

The opera. Something about everyone sitting there watching it unfold, without having any idea of what was actually going on, seemed highly appropriate.

One of the greatest scenes in the saga. Padme & crew fighting their way to the door, then the door opens a lone sith stands waiting.

Ki-Adi Mundi's death scene is the most memorable image of the PT, for me.

Excellent choice. Otoh Gunga is full of wonderful imagery.

I would love to get my hands on Star Wars: Frames. Seems like an absolutely fantastic book.

That's one of those incredible shots that just kind of passes by quickly, to be later appreciated by keen-eyed viewers with DVD remotes. TPM in particular is filled with such imagery.
