    No, this thread isn't about Owen and Beru. It also isn't about Anakin and Padme or Han and Leia since they are young couples in love. Instead, this thread is asking which of the Star Wars pairs most resemble a old married couple: they want each other around but constantly bicker; sometimes you wonder why they put up with each other at all; they are always by the other's side and it's hard to imagine them with anyone else; etc.

    Its got to be the dysfunctional and funny relationship between R2 and C3PO... Its even complete with memory loss by one of the parties.

    I'm going with Vader and Palpatine. Sort like what 50 Shades of Grey will end up like after 20 years together.

    Rats! ...I'm now re-thinking myself. Maybe I should've gone with GL and Star Wars fans. There's certainly some complicated love-hate stuff going on there.

    Had to go with R2 and Threepio, but I would say Obi-Wan and Anakin in much of AOTC would be a close second. Especially the way Obi delivers lines like "He went completely the other way!" during the Zam Wesell chase!
