I can sympathise with that, CM. I did that for weeks when I lost my Goof.

-hugs everyone- thanks I have her ashes, and we are driving up into the mountains to let them go. the first place we took her after we got her was this ymca camp, so we are spreading her ashes at the place we hiked frequently.

 

That is a nice way to respect her, CM.

 

I'm sorry for you loss CM. My dog passed away from lung cancer several years ago, it really tore me up. We buried him next to the family dog that my sister and I grew up with. Nothing can ease the pain right now, but at least you have all of those happy memories with him/her.

 

And pictures (if you have them). I keep one of Goof in my wallet. As a keepsake.
