:p :D Ionisation; so that's basically everyone on the Avenger then.

Kidding. You have a good weekend.

Honestly, this whole thing about Star Wars "villifying" the villains makes no sense at all to me. I mean, it's fiction. There's not some platonic ideal of Tarkin or Vader that we're only seeing in a distorted form. You can disagree with the characterization, sure, but talking about it in terms of bias is just silly.

I rather liked the Apocalypse Endor comic - which shows that the Ewoks have been causing trouble since first contact (though the Empire did shoot first).

Ewoks: Shadows of Endor takes a similar approach.

Another unpopular Star Wars opinion of mine -Caravan of Courage (The first Ewok adventure movie -not the awful sequel) is better than the prequels!!

Ok, after reading a number of posts in the "least favorite sequences" thread, I now realize I have at least one rather unpopular SW opinion--I actually like the Threepio head-swap stuff in the battle of Geonosis...

I am being serious: I like The Clone Wars better than the Original Trilogy.

I also thought R2's PT rocket boosters were great! (and judging by comments in the "least favorite sequences" thread, that also seems to be a bit unpopular...)

I dislike the droids both R2 and c-3po.. I dislike the whole beginning of ANH and its drags on until we meet Luke.

I don't share in the enthusiasm for Boba Fett. I know he's more humanized in the Legends EU, but in the movies he's an agent of Darth Vader at his most evil, and I was relieved when he was swallowed by the Sarlaac. I still think his true identity should have remained a mystery. All the backstory in the PT just ruined any chance I'd have of warming up to him.

I don't think they are filmS, plural. I view it as one work, as I would view multiple chapters of a book not as a work of their own, but as a smaller part of a whole

Boba Fett is not as compelling a character as Jango Fett (not sure is this is unpopular or is the consensus is divided).

Han Solo is not the greatest character in Star Wars and who cares if he shot first.

I really liked HC in the PT. I thought his scenes with Padme after killing the Tuskans was great. I thought his performance on Mustafar was great. There are subpar moments for him in the PT. But everyone has those moments. For example one that stands out to me is Ewan's line at the beginning of ROTS when they are trapped. I think that might be one of the worst delivered lines in the saga. But it doesn't take away from his performance overall.

Mark Hamill's performance in ESB is superior to the performance of any other actor throughout the entire series.

Just pretend the PT doesn't exist... That's what I do.

If you don't watch them for years the memory starts to fade -so to me Boba Fett is still the mysterious bounty hunter he always was... I love Darth Maul though, so it sucks that he gets omitted haha
