ST Planets in the ST

They should put a tiny reference to Boba Fett in Episode VII, like maybe a shot of the Pitt with a piece of his armour or something sticking out from the sand and footsteps(then again the footsteps should be long gone by that point). Just a tiny clue that Boba may or may not be alive, keep us in the dark a little longer. I don't really want to see Boba himself in Episode VII. Save it for his inevitable solo movie, have that start out with him escaping the pit and then walking into a Tattooine cantina.

If there's something more evil and ancient than the Sith, maybe their homeworld is Malachor? Gascon said, "No way in Malachor," and (non-canon alert) KOTOR II suggests that Malachor is more evil than Korriban.

Iceland was used for location shooting for Prometheus. Even though there is a permanent ice-cap in the centre of the country, I'd say it's more likely that landscapes here and in Scotland will be tied together from location shooting for a bleak forbidding planet location, perhaps Big Bad's back yard.

Iceland has a bizarre, surreal volcanic other-worldly look to it. Perfect for that, 'This planet gives me the creeps, we shouldn't have landed here' feel.

 

I doubt we will unless its for a couple moments. I'm certain it will be a different planet entirely. There were pictures earlier of different things there completely different from Hoth.

 

Yeah, there are plenty of bizarre but fascinating locales in Iceland, namely Skaftafell National Park.


The Blue Ice Caves would make for an interesting shooting location.

Reminds me that there are lots of beautiful landscapes in Iceland too as well as forbidding/other-wordly. Maybe they're going no-where near the lavafields!

 

I would love to see a planet with some green, something vibrant and lovely to offset the grit of Tatooine. Those plains in Iceland could make for a beautiful depiction of Dantooine.

I wonder if Moraband was once full of life or, alternatively, if it has a connection to the dark side that existed before the Sith did.

 

I would love to see this as either Dantooine. Or if they want to pull from the EU, Tython.

I wonder if there's a canon Jedi equivalent of Moraband.

 

I'm sure it doesn't matter NOW, but in Star Wars Galaxies Anchorhead was indeed just a little outpost town about 1/10th the size of Mos Eisley. Though that's not really say it's accurate....as even Mos Eisley in that game was really small compared to the SE version.

There are some ruins present within the Dark Side Cave, one can only wonder who built the place.

If we're talking about Moraband's antithesis then I still want Tython or Mython to be the progenitor, I loved everything about Tython.

 

I feel like the birthplace of evil (and location of the final battle) should be called Had Abbadon as a tribute to the ROTJ concept.

 

What's "Mython?"

 

RandomGuardian was joking that since Korriban became Moraband, Tython would become Mython.
