    I don't think facial hair alone is a good indicator. I think he will have aspects of Obi-wans role. But I think he is probably more analogous to a yoda figure in the scope of the trilogy.

    So, to answer your question, no I don't think he will perish at the end of episode 7. He could very well die during the trilogy.

    Considering George asked Mark to consider playing the "Obi Wan type character handing down Excalibur to the next generation" back when Jimmy Carter was president of the United States, I'm surprised anybody seriously needed clarity.

    i used to think after spending the past 20 years or so of my life (I'm only 24 going on 25) seeing Mark Hamill voice the Joker that i was going to have a hard time seeing him reprise his role as Luke Skywalker but after watching his interview at Star Wars Weekends, I have no problem seeing him as Luke again.

    Dude is so awesome ! He really have to enjoy beeing a mega star again, i mean he have done alot and always been a legend because
