Wasn't Mace head of the council?

None. I want none answered. Lucas felt the need to fill in ALL the dots. Nothing left to the imagination. I don't need everything to be explained.

The way I understand it, yeah he was. Yoda was the head of the Order, Mace was the head of the council.

Uh, did you maybe think that she cut it between the films? Come on man, it's not like they don't get haircuts...

I suppose this is an immaterial point to me, to the first order at least, in that Yoda has seniority of life experience, but I can offer apologies for a technical mistake.

I'd prefer there be no more answers to old questions, and just have the ST move on to newer, better things! Wouldn't that be something? Delving into a universe full of wonder and intrigue in much the same way audiences did on May 25, 1977...

I can only hope we get introduced to new mysteries in the ST. Introduce new Force-related ideas and make the Force even more deep and mysterious (to rectify the midichlorians debacle) than we already know!

No more 'shrinking-universe'.....ok, it's too late for that. I know.

The thing I always wanted to write, but know I am incompetent to do so, would be about being who can meditate and internally visualize so strongly that they alter the properties of a volume of space time. Basically their synapses set up such a resonant standing wave that it impacts the fabric of space time, which as no where to go, and so must change to dissipate the energy. I would never call this "The Force", because that is a trademarked feature of an established franchise. But you see there are many other places to go with such a trademarked feature, and there is no reason it cannot also be dragged further into the third millennium by touching modern science topics, while maintaining a devout and haunting sense of physical or mathematical sorcery. (The endosymbiotic theory of mitochondria dates to 1910; not recent science.)

I was trying to justify this dude's total disregard of making any sense of shorter hair. "WHAT? SHE PUT IT UP IN BRAIDS? WHAAAA"

1- Will Luke fly the X-Wing?
2- Will Luke, Leia and the Skywaker kids have any relationship/contact with their maternal family (Padme's family)?
3- Will the Galaxy know Vader's true identity
4- Chosen Prophecy explained if the Sith are back in EpVII
5- Whoever gets in Han's face, please let Solo shoot first
6- Hopefully whatever happened between EpVi and VII is explained.
7- What happened to the Jedi Temple? Surely 30years is enough to restore it.

And I suppose off the back of that is the question, "Does Leia harbour any resentment for Luke for killing their father?"

Excellent point. Especially since Luke only went to face him because he believed that he was a good person, deep down. Personally, I think the assassination of all the Jedi of all ages in the temple should have simply been down to a truckload of the fast-moving commando droids. Yes, the Jedi can foresee their movements and counter them, but if they were overwhelmed by legions of them, they'd all have perished, leaving Anakin free of that burden of guilt.

It's got to be the dry atmosphere of Tattooine, surely?

Covered in TCW with the Mortis and Yoda arcs.

8- How much of the Imprerial Fleet where not at the Battle of Endor (and still be around in EpVII?)

More precisely, how big was the Empire in military terms? For example, if 1000 Star Destroyers were stationed across the galaxy during the Battle of Endor..surely they're numbers still outweigh the Alliance fleet (or whats left of it)...just because the Death Star, Palpatine and Vader fell doesnt exactly mean the Empire did.

    LOL!

    There is no midichlorians debacle.

That is to say there is for those who don't actually know what they are or what they do.

Meaning all those people who still think that they are the Force. In fact it's made so clear that why people can see it ties in beautifully with ESB I don't know.

BTW The Clone Wars did make the Force more deep and mysterious by explaining more about it which in turn makes you ask more questions.

A lack of explanation means a lack of mystery. The more you explain something the more layers you can add.
