Witcher does look cool.

On the other hand, the Beth announcement is the thing I have really wanted to see. So this is really annoying for me.

 

Can I just say, Assassin's Creed: Yo Ho Ho Edition got me back into the franchise, and Assassin's Creed: Robespierre Murder Simulator seems set to win me back over.

 

I'd imagine the GM player uses the Glass.

 

Hopefully we get to see Rainbow 6. Maybe.

Just Dance confirmed for bigger than Far Cry 4.

 

Just Dance and the whole gimmicky dance genre needs to die.

EDIT: This multiplayer thing is kinda cool.

 

I just... we cold opened on a violent stabbing. And now we dance? What is this, Salo?

 

I like how the host person made a joke similar to that to open The Division.

So is there any good stuff coming out this year in video games or is it really as boring a year as it seems (IMO)? To me it looks like all the interesting stuff will hit next year.

It's hard not to, the mood whiplash is extreme and palpable.

 

I know. Just Dance should have been a show closer.

 

Nah, you want big for a show closer. Start strong, finish strong.

The Crew looks great, I liked the demo last year and this trailer made it even more appealing. I loved Far Cry 3, so it's safe to say that taking that and putting it in a new setting with a new villain is totally fine by me. Curious about what AC stuff they'll show now that I feel all interested in the series again.

 

Well it was clearly Lorde, and I'm genuinely confused that they didn't do a stripped-down version of "Royals"

Annoyed by the lack of French accents in a game set in France, but I guess I can always play the game in French and practice the language while I'm at it. Also really hoping that Unity's demo was an actual engine build and not pre-rendered because wow Watch Dogs.

 

I got goose-bumps from from that Valiant Hearts trailer.

 

Pre-rendered as could be, though. I tried to convince myself otherwise, but...pre-rendered as it gets.

 

Totally predicted it.

 

Well, except the "maybe"

Much better conference than EA's.

 

It's become kind of cliche at this point to bash Madden (almost like ripping the PT), but Madden 15 does not impress me in the least. The graphics don't look to be much of an improvement, then flip-flopping back and forth between "We've revolutionized the offense" and "We've overhauled the way you play defense on Madden" each year is getting tiresome.

The last Madden I played religiously was Madden 2004...ever since I switched to PS3 and now PS4, it hasn't entertained me in the least. I kept waiting each year for them to change the same, annoying little details and it just never happened. Sad when you think that it's been almost a decade since a great Madden release (and yet it continues to get bigger and bigger each year).

On a different note - I was waiting so eagerly for Battlefront news, and while I'm really excited about what they showed, I was expecting more. Maybe I was hoping for too much, but no gameplay and only a dedicated engine demonstration was disappointing. Oh well.

 

So what is everyone looking forward to at this point?
