Annual RMFF BBQ on Saturday July 12th

We will be hosting the Annual RMFF BBQ at our house on Saturday July 12th probably will start around 3pm. More details will follow.

 

There have been several people asking if we can do a White Bantha gift exchange at the BBQ. I'm going to start a poll to get people's thoughts.

For the newbies: White Bantha is our version of White Elephant gift exchange which we do for the RMFF Xmas party . We have done it once when we hosted the annual BBQ previously when our theme was Christmas in July.

 

Believe it or not I don't have any troops going on that day. I'll put it on my calendar. I loved the white bantha when we had it at the Christmas in July BBQ. Let's do it again! I'll bring the berry cobbler. PM me your address.

Potluck

We will be providing burgers, hot dogs, brats, buns, condiments, plates, silverware, and napkins.

If people can bring drinks, side dishes, dessert, salads etc.

Please look at what other people are bringing so we don't end up with only desserts

 

Hi, I'm new to the group - just found everyone at Comic Con and am very excited about getting started. I'd love an invitation to the BBQ, so meet more of some of the amazing people I just met over the weekend.

 

Glad you stopped by at the con and found us! You're welcome to come to the BBQ. You can send a "message" (look at the inbox link at the top of the boards here) to catz44 for the address. I'll also be sending out an invitation via FB (now that we've started a thread ;P ) so if' you've friended the RMFF on Facebook you'll see it there...soon.

 

We plan on attending, depending on the work schedule=)

 

We'll bring 2 tubs of potato salad. mmm, King soopers potato salad. Just like mom never made.

 

Ok I think we will be providing Brats, Dogs and Burgers. Probably a side of some sort. Not sure yet. Please feel free to bring some games or other activities if you would like. This is going to be a lot of fun, we have a huge deck and I think it will work great for the the BBQ.

My brother just left me his Star Wars Monopoly game, so I'll bring that. If we have too many desserts I'll bring the greek salad.

One week from Saturday!

 

My attendance will be iffy. I can't really drive that far right now.

 

I wish I could go, but I'm working the Colorado Irish Festival all weekend. Have fun, everyone!

So much fun was had, burnt animal flesh was consumed, lots of new faces and some old faces. Thanks to the Rogers for hosting and putting up with all of us.
