Well, I think of it this way. You know what you'll lose if you wait too long, so what would you gain by waiting? VIP passes sold out in seconds last summer when they went on sale and four day and Saturday passes will likely sell out first but it's anyone's guess as to when. With a new film coming out and the Con's return to the west coast after so long there will probably be a lot of interest.

Celebration website has relaunched - you can see the story (and a link) here on TFN Main.

Bought my four-day tickets! This will be my first convention of any kind, ever. Pretty stoked. Debating whether or not to costume, leaning towards no.

Hey guys, I'm looking at buying my 4 day pass to Anaheim as I'd be travelling from England on my own but won't know anyone as I am a Solo (no pun intended) geek! Anyone else going by themselves?

I too am currently flying Solo for the show. Just waiting to hear back from some people though.

I might be solo - trying to convince my best friend to tag along, but I'm going regardless. Really looking forward to meeting folks from here either way. :D

See, I'm new here too and my friends all just raise their eyebrows at me when I mention Star Wars! They don't geek out at anything but I'm already planning on going to the premiere of episode VII dressed up, possibly as someone like Lanoree Brock!

I am not planning to go and I live near there.
Well 8 hours drive, but I think it's already to late to reserve a room.
I saw the news a month ago and I let the thing pass. :(

Lots of hotels within very reasonable walking distance (10 minutes or so) still have space available!

Yup. just booked one on Friday night. So yes. There is still plenty of hotels left (and cheaper ones if you don't mind 2 stars or lower)

PatttyB0123 . . . If you are able to attend CVII, please do so. I had a million reasons not attending
the first four Celebrations. I can honestly say, that was a mistake. CV and CVI were the best decisions
I've ever made! I drove 12 hours to Atlanta, then 9 1/2 hours to Orlando. And yes, I did it alone. It gave
me time to think, relax, get excited, and all the other emotions associated with the genre we love. I
didn't have the option of having company ride with me but that was okay. There are thousands of
Star War fans out there and I made many friends through Celebrations. God willing, I've made plans
for CVII. Friends of mine want to fly from Michigan. If I had it my way, we'd be driving to Anaheim.

Has anyone tried to use the 10% code from the official site on Delta?

I tried a couple of weeks ago for the 5% code on American Airlines three times and it
wouldn't accept it. Maybe they hadn't activated it yet. I dunno. It doesn't matter now. I purchased my ticket anyway and the rate
was reasonable compared to what it is now. But seats were being filled for the month
of April 2015. And guess for which week?

Okay. Just visited the Rebel Scum forum and saw something
    that almost made me p*ss my pants! " . . . Delta's 10% code
    is for 1st Class seats and 2% for economy . . ."

I guess that explains the "save up to 10%" language. Bummer.

Bah, Southwest flies more planes out of here anyway.

I got the Delta code to work but like EnviousSerious said it was 2% or $10 hole dollars .But I guess that makes the wi-fi fee only $8 if I choice to get it.

For me the choose to go with Delta and pay more over Southwest is , SW no longer flys direct to LAX and my buddy that is going with me HATES to fly so the less taking off and landing is better for his nerves.
