The Fedora Era will never be over, if that's what you were thinking.

#2 seed, Li Na, done on the ladies side.

Djoker fell and hurt his shoulder, but rolled. Interested to see how that affects him after a few nights sleep.

hopefully not too much because he's got tsonga next, who also rolled through the 3rd round after that epic 2nd rounder.

meanwhile Kvitova and Venus at one set a piece. The 34 year old is here to play!

FFS Murray. You're 2 sets up, and 5-2 up. 40-30 down. Just lose the point then serve out!

Murray really doesn't know how to do things the easy way :p

Still, looking pretty good. Onto the next match.

Nadal has not failed to get to the final once he gets past the second round, at least from 2006 onward. I hope that continues again this year.

he seems to be getting his grass court game back. he hit some ridiculous shots today. i was looking for to nishikori/raonic, but kei has his hands full with this bolelli guy right now.

Surprised to see Serena out so early, yet again. I guess the time was bound to get here, but she looked so dominant, so recently.

She's not a young player, and it could be that she's hit an abrupt yet logical dropoff in her abilities.

i think the credit goes to cornet. she was handling serena's pace and even feeding off of it, and throughout her career serena just doesn't know how to adjust her gameplan when that happens.

feels like roland garros all over again on the women's side. Maybe a Sharapova-Halep rematch in the semis.

I'm the same, mostly because of stuff like this.

Williams sounded almost outraged last night that Cornet had produced such a sparkling performance on Court One. “Everyone in general plays the match of their lives against me,” she said. “So I just have to always, every time I step on the court, be a hundred times better. If I'm not, then I'm in trouble.
“These girls, when they play me, they play as if they're on the ATP Tour [the men’s side of the game], and then they play other girls completely different. It's never easy, you know, being in my shoes. But you got to be ready.”

On the one hand, it's true, but on the other, it's no different than what players like Federer, Nadal, Djokovic, etc. face.

I saw something yesterday about how great he is with his fans who are kids as well.

Between Novak, Rafa, and Fed, there's a ton of class at the top of the sport. Something that my old favorite player, Andy Roddick, notably lacked.

Oh Ana. Ana, Ana, Ana. Although it stinks to have a match delayed for more than a day, then delayed again, you are such an Ana.
