I was going to join the Obi Wan crew, but now that I know cleaning is inolved I think I'm gonna jump ship.

Liea has always been a favorite of mine, she eventually becomes a Jedi, right? I guess we'll find out in a little less than 18 months.

 

Besides, the actual crew keeps the ship plenty clean anyway

As for favorite Jedi, well, the username makes that clear...Luke Skywalker.

 

I remain in the Yoda camp. Which is something I could never have foreseen. For so long I was in the Skywalker camp and then I was part of the Kenobi Crew. Now I am with the few who dwell in Dagobah.

 

What's the Council's perspective on padwans who are still around but who are matched to Masters who are MIA? Are they ever paired with another Jedi? What's the precedent for this in this past?

I'm the precedent in recent history

Long story short: I was originally apprenticed to Master dewback_rancher . Unfortunately, soon into my training Dewie went MIA. As a result, I was then apprenticed (on what was supposed to be a temporary basis) to Addie. As it turned out, Dewie never showed back up, at least not during my training, and as such...Addie became my permanent Master and finished my training.

While the situation hasn't come up since I believe, it would likely go the same way. The Padawan in question would be trained by another Master until their original Master returned...or the training was completed, depending on which came first.

 

Is it possible for me to start my Jedi apprenticeship soon? I have been an initiate for about three weeks now and I have been posting and observing the thread fairly actively. I am very excited to continue my training and advancing in my knowledge of the Force and Jedi Code as soon as I can. Thank you,

A member of the Council has approached and asked me if I would like to take Polydroxol as my padawan learner, to which I have readily agreed. So, if he is in agreement as well... let the Jedi journey begin.

Is there any hair to cut to form a braid to signify your new status? If not, you can fashion one out of some other material as prescribed in The Jedi Path. And to add a relevant quote for the occasion by a former Jedi Master from the aforementioned book:
