I would say the most important Force skill is know what you're strengths and weaknesses are. Not every Jedi has the same skills in the Force, some can levitate, some can't and their skills lie elsewhere. Some are better at Force healing and some are weak at it. Some can project illusions and others are good at manipulating weak minds.

 

Well said Master Falcon. For Jedi Guardians the focus is more Lightsaber dueling and other skills. For the Jedi Consular the ways of the Force and mastering them. For the Jedi Sentinel the more technical and obscure skills that Jedi tend to avoid. Each member of the Light has something to offer and we should all strive to use our talents to further the goal of peace in the Galaxy.

My apologies Master Jedi. I have amended the mistake in my last post in time.

 

Force Speed would be another besides those already listed. After all, if you cannot move fast enough, you just might never move again

 

Indeed Master Fisto, Force Speed is often overlooked. A great master of the saber once told me, "run away and live to fight another day." As Jedi we should not see fleeing as cowardice, but a worthwhile option given the circumstances.

 

Fleeing just gives you time to absorb the situation at hand and come up with a better solution for how to handle it

 

As a Jedi Consular, restraint and utilizing other options is imperative. Fighting should be a last resort and yet there are some who would rather pick a fight and still call themselves peace keepers (I am not referring to anyone here, merely those in the history of the Jedi Order).

 

Yes fighting should be the last resort, but do not overlook Force Speed in taking a battle and ending it quickly. As seen when Luke first discovered the ability whilst fighting Guri. Speed won the day in the fight where skill and weapons alone could not.

 

Force Speed is indeed useful in ending a battle quickly. Sadly the Sith tend to use it more than us Jedi. We really should consider implementing Force Speed into Saber techniques more.

 

That's true and it is a quick way to end a fight.

I know Anakin used Force speed to end the battle between him and Barris
