Saga The 'Feel the Love for Your Unloved Film(s)' Thread

In order to nurture positivity and warm feelings around here, I've created this thread which will hopefully encourage people to focus on the positive aspects of the film(s) which they tend to commonly express negativity towards. The idea is to find the 5 (ok, maybe 3 or 1) thing(s) in your least favourite film(s) in the saga which you actually like.

This is a thread created by me, so it will probably attract about five posts (3 from me) and then sink without trace , but here goes...

Attack of the Clones

1. Christopher Lee
2. The sound of the seismic chargers.
3. Natalie Portman's fireside attire
4. Obiwan v Jango in the rain
5. Coruscant nightlife (Go home and rethink your life)

TPM:

1. Great soundtrack
2. Ian
3. New creatures

 

Wow, this is a great thread idea.

Attack of the Clones

1. The entire aircar chase, a setpiece we've never really seen before and that showed off a lot of Coruscant at night
2. The entire score
3. Jango Fett, particularly how he manages to do more than just look cool
4. The way it feels more like a Golden Age serial than any other movie in the saga
5. Kamino's look

I could easily add more, but I'm leaving it at five.

 

RotS:

1. Soundtrack
2. Obi-Wan's line 'You were my brother, Anakin. I loved you!' Nice to finally see some deep emotion from a Jedi.
3. Headhunter? (Not sure which PT film has the X-Wing predecessor but it's awesome.)
4. Finally knowing which twin is older
5. The feeble attempt to tie Tarkin into both film eras. (Quite jarring as a Cushing Fan but I respect the attempt).

 

ESB:

1.X-Wing
2. More spiritual approach to the Force
3. Father/son reveal

 

TPM

1. Like, everything aboard the TF battleship early in the movie. Seriously, that whole sequence.
2. Pod racing.
3. The entire battle of Naboo except for the space portion.

AOTC

1. Everything on Kamino.
2. The battle in the asteroid field.
3. Basically the entire battle of Geonosis, but especially the duels at the end.

ROTS

1. The duel on the Invisible Hand.
2. Boga.
3. Order 66 sequence and Operation: Knightfall.
4. The duel between Yoda and Sidious.

 

Revenge of the Sith

1. Opera scene
2. Mace 'overpowering' Sidious
3. Superior haircuts of Obiwan and Anakin
4. Incorporation of OT musical themes at the end
5. Wookiee battle cry

 

TPM:

1. The final light saber duel.
2. Liam Neeson.
3. Soundtrack.
4. Ewan.
5. You know? I kinda liked the pod race. That was pretty cool.

AOTC:

1. "You don't want to sell me death sticks…you want to go home and rethink your life."
2. Anakin killing the sand people and then his confession about it. I actually thought Hayden did a really good job in that scene.
3. Some of Padme's costumes were really cool.
4. Ewan.

All the other SW films I either have warm or passionate feelings for. They don't need my love. That's what the rest of this board is for.
