General Immodet agreed, that and the fact that it acknowledged the micro-series are what really made it excellent to me. It's one of those stories that makes you feel like Star Wars has some internal continuity and consistency (despite often not).

Some stories have too much continuity. For example, I did not like all the namedropping in Darth Plagueis, although I quite liked the novel as a whole.
When I first opened the second issue of Crimson Empire III, I thought Devian was Tremayne.

 

It's the difference between Anakin building C-3PO, versus showing how Anakin became Darth Vader. One is unnecessary, one is appropriate. And I would've preferred Tremayne, actually...
