Arena Streak for Colors Part III: The Colors Awaken

Hello, there! I'm your host/Commissioner of this lovely game. Fresh off a mid-summer hiatus, I felt the time was right to begin anew, to regenerate this game so-to-speak.


Just what exactly happens here? Read below!


Rules & such:

Playing this game is simple, especially if you're very knowledgeable about sports. There are no sign-ups, thus you can play when you want, for as long as you want! Of course, I'd prefer if you stick around to be a full-time player... it's more fun that way.


Each Sunday -but occasionally on Mondays- athletic (and sometimes, random stuff) events will be posted for the coming week. Simply pick up to one selection per day to enter. The idea is to build as long a streak of correct picks as possible. You don't need to make a pick every day, and not picking will not count against you. Ties occur when the event/pick in question (ie: a football match, and over/under pick that lands on the exact number in question) ends in a tie. Ties don't end or extend a streak.


So, how do you win? And, what can you win? Well, there's a bevy of choices...


"The Old Familiar"... Make a single pick per day- get 9 in-a-row correct, and win 48-hours worth of colors! After the 9-in-a-row, you can win an additional 24-hours of colors after every 3-days to which your streak continues (ie: 72-hours of colors after 12 in-a-row, 96 hours after 15 in-a-row, and so forth...). Your colors do not begin until your streak has ended.



"The Old Familiar: Part II"... If you end the month as the user with the most "wins" (ie: total correct picks for the month), you win 48-hours worth of colors.



"The Bonanza"... Independent of the win/loss/tie record, there's another daily form of winning colors: The 3 pick Bonzana! Choose any 3 picks for a given day, and if you get them all correct, you win 24 hours of colors. There's no limit for consecutive Bonzana wins. If you already have colors (either due to this game or something else), then that allotment gets extended by 24 hours (duh). You can make a Bonanza pick along with your daily single pick, as what happens with the bonanza doesn't effect your daily/normal standings, streaks, etc.



"The Tiemaster"... End the month as the user with the most tied picks, and you "win" 24-hours of colors to be chosen by me. All other color prizes are of the users choosing.
