This reminds me that I still have season 1 on DVD on my bookshelf of countless movies that I bought from Pawn America because I've lost control of my life.

 

First review is in! Verdict?

Even better than Breaking bad.

 

Well, as long as it's not being overhyped.

 

Yeah, I saw that.... we'll see. That's a really ****ing bold statement.

 

I wish it at least had the qualifier "compared to the first few episodes of BB".

 

Even then... the first few episodes of BB were really ****ing good. I hope they're great, and all, but I'm going to take the hype with a grain of salt.

 

Not me. I came to stand at the edge of the sea of hype, turned around so my back faces it, and then fallen in backwards with a goofy smile on my face.

 

You know, upon reflection, it's one review. He was probably given early access with an understanding. He gets the scoop, and gushes. So while it's undoubtedly good, this person is over-egging.

 

A much more tempered review. The show requires "a leap of faith"

 

I just wish people would stop comparing it to Breaking Bad. It's a spin-off/prequel, yes, but let's just let it be what it is (and we have no idea what it is yet) and watch it. I don't really like listening to critics... lol.

 

What it is is a Brahbah prequel. It and AMC are counting on the existing fanbase. It's perfectly fair to compare it to its predecessor.

 

lol... yeah, I know. I just din't dig the "better than..." stuff.

 

Same prople working on it. Same universe. I don't even know why we have a seperate thread, really.

 

It's completely unnecessary to have a separate thread. Bring all your Breaking Bad discussions over and we'll integrate.

Well, being that the exact same fans post in each, it doesn't really matter. We can use whichever fountain we want.

Sure I do. I just don't find it necessary, in this instance (or any instance, really).

 

I segregate my laundry. I really don't like mixing my blacks and whites. Then everything becomes one dirty grey color.
