Volunteer? What do you get for doing that?

I bought 3 4-day passes I am so happy that it will be here in Anaheim. The VIP tickets are way out of budget for me but even if you go for two days you are better off getting the 4 day pass..

 

I worked at C4 in the store with all the goodies and they give you a pass to go walk around I took a week off from work to work the event I even got paid for it.. you may want to look into contacting the convention center and see what they can tell you. They may not have any information as of yet So I would try maybe February or March

 

I managed to get two Jedi Knight tickets. Between using those and volunteering for Official Pix and all the Ep. VII stuff, this will be an awesome Celebration!

Official Pix will be asking for volunteers closer to the date. Ive worked for them at 3 Celebrations so far and have loved EVERY minute of it!! The best part is working as a guest escort. Its lots of fun!! You get really cool stuff for doing it too! You get a volunteer t-shirt and badge, and usually 1 autographed pic (Chosen at random) for every hour you work. And usually, if you work a predetermined # of hours, you get a COMPLETE set of all the pix that are available for purchase!!!

 

Fascinating. Intriguing to see if the trend is continued then Ozzel. . . I must just have to check about volunteering but I doubt I will.

You see I just got my tickets and this will be my first real convention of any sort (i.e. one with more than thirty people present). Not to mention the first ever traveled for. I am so psyched!

 

Buying my ticket today. May the 4th seems like the right day for it.

I got mine two days ago and I just booked a room too.

 

Early pickup times and location for badges, VIP and Jedi Knight/Master registration, and new ticket purchases have been announced for Tue Apr 14 and Wed Apr 15. You can see the information here on TFN Main. Note that early pickup is essential if you want to attend the panel at 10 AM on Thursday morning.

 

I just called to clarify some questions and they said they are expecting to mail tickets out about the 3rd week of March and you should be receiving an email about the time of when they begin sending tickets out. If you are set to receive the tickets in the mail, then you will not need to stand in line as everything you need should be sent to you in the mail. If for some reason, you never get your tickets, such as post office loses the mail or delivers to wrong address or is stolen, you will need to stand in line unfortunately. Getting really excited for this especially since I didn't get any Comic Con tixs this past weekend.

 

I'd add to the previous post that if you don't get your tickets take some proof of purchase along when you go to Anaheim. (A printout of your receipt or the notification mail, for example. You might also need the original credit/debit card you used for purchase as further proof.)

 

I really agree with the above statement. I remember at DCon a couple forgot
their receipt as proof of purchase; left their ID's at a hotel nine city blocks
away and been standing in line for three hours and they still couldn't get their
tix without the proper verification.
Yikes! What a way to start a convention . . .

 

Received my Jedi Knight VIP badge today.. it's Episode 3 Obi-Wan. Getting closer

Mine arrived on Tuesday (I'm in California). It came kind of squished, though (like it'd seen some of the extreme weather).

 

Jedi Sandy got my 4 day pass last friday. Waiting for hotel to go in Yahoo LOL everyone.

 

If you have a Jedi Knight badge do you have to stand in the ridiculous long line to get in the convention or is there a separate line?

 

It should be separate (early entrance priv's)

 

I bought some for my son, but if he can't miss any classes I will stuck with 4 tickets.
Don't know If I will able to sell those over there.
Then I will know his schedule till April 10.
I told him classes are more important this time, but he is going to trying to go.
