It's been a whole long while since I had anything interesting to say around here.

I just wrote this new article about why I think the new Star Wars movies are going to disappoint everyone. If figured if there were a place to post it, it would be here. Not to spoil the fun of it all, but one of the main themes is that it essentially is a gigantic fan film.

Pretty amazing that a pile of the tech that we needed to assemble and build tutorials to learn (shooting, video capture, editing, conversion, compression, hosting, etc.) is now in the phones most people carry in their pocket. Yeah, I guess I personally qualify as "old stuffs" myself any more.
