The fans are part of the game. They support their team and they are there every step of the way. You financially support them with merchandise and by watching/listening to the games.
When your team loses, you lose. When your team wins, you win.

I really wished I cared more but then I would be lying. Could care less about it all.

 

Toronto sport is pretty much a religion here, too. The Jays didn't even make it to the World Series and everyone was still dancing on Yonge Street (one of the busiest streets in the city )

 

And I've cleaned up chapter 2 of that SG/SW fic.

Man, literally half of that is entirely new material. How in the world did I consider 1k words a sufficient chapter...

 

I need to start writing again.

It's NaNoWriMo, so I'm writing like a madperson these days! I set a goal for 3000 words a day and passed that yesterday...we'll see how it goes today.

 

Funnily enough, were I actually inclined to do NaNo, I could probably handle it. I mean, my goal for each and every chapter (that isn't the novel) is 4k words after all

 

You can still sign up, you know. You may as well get a shiny badge out of everything.

My excuse is laziness.

 

You can continue your existing projects. You just have to count only the words written in November, and you just have to write fiction. Those are the only two rules.

 

In other story related news, my most popular fic's most recent chapter...has now hit 54 reviews. Granted it was coming off a multi-month hiatus, but even so. That's a lot.

 

I discovered a mole on my body that's changing color and looks irregular. I tend to sun burn quite easily so now I'm a little worried about this...

Its irregular in shape. I should make an appointment to have that checked.

Yup. Hopefully OHIP does not go "you have to pay for it yourself, sucka" and then make you pay for it. They did that to me.

Stupid insurance.

I'm nervous they won't cover my IVIG when I restart it in a few weeks, despite the fact it's the proven treatment for all my diagnoses.

 

Make them an offer they can't refuse.
