I'd just like to note, this is not a social thread. All posts should contain content pertaining to The New Sith Trials, or RL events that affect it. So, what's really encouraged here is discussion of recent updates, plot developments, speculating about where the story is going (that's the GMs' favourite, every time), Q&A (e.g. about Points systems, or whether the game is still accepting new players), or complimenting your fellow players' posts, letting the GMs (Darth_wanderguard, Sinrebirth and myself) know if DRL is dragging you away from the game, or planning your character's storyline and future with your fellow players or GMs.

For socialising and things falling out of the purview of this thread, there'll be a PM convo for all players. For sharing details of, say, your characters' spaceships, backstory, detailed histories of your characters or the events and institutions in the game, there'll be a Library thread as well.

Lastly, follow the TOS!

I'm impressed by the activity we're seeing. 17 Players confirmed, which is definitely more than the RPF has seen in recent years. The fact so many are the returning old guard is just great.

 

After reading everything, there is so much potential here, it makes my head spin. What a great cast of characters. My imagination is working overtime on story arc possibilities and cross-overs. I'm loving it. And dang!! Makatak seemed like such a nice planet to vacation in. *Le sigh*

 

And still more characters in-bound! I definitely have a good few story arc possibilites involving getting the old guard getting back together in mind for Manticore.

As for Makatak... Not for long.

 

Hmm. What is the EUC?

Nor did I when I first got involved in Sith role-playing. This is a casual game with little exposition, so definitely geared towards first-time role-players. I'd be more than happy to guide you in it via PM (much easier than it looks!)

Sorry, I am co-GM in another game, and have a lot on my plate there.

If I had more time, and the slightest clue about the era your game is set in, I might have been interested.

 

Loosely set post-Legacy, although something of its own continuity to allow players to do as they want, just FYI.

So what exactly is the full plot of the sith trials?

 

The mysteries of the full plot shall develop and become clear in time.

We are loosely set 155 years after A New Hope, but very much a loose continuity so as to keep the playground open, so to speak. You don't need to know about past games in the series to enjoy it in full; if you were to join, you would be a hopeful apprentice in the Korriban Academy of a new Sith Empire that has laid claim to the Outer Rim of the galaxy, helmed by Dark Lords Dreadwar, Insipid and Haretisch. The relevant details are in Wanderguard's opening post, and in my first GM post (the one with the big The New Sith Trials banner).

Can't wait to get started with my own character. I really hope to work my way up to being a Stalker.
