JJ's latest show debuted last night on Fox. It was a very good premiere, though I actually liked the second episode better than the first. The sniper guy was just much more unsettling, and his conflict with the one Warden was much more interesting than the first guy's conflict with the overtly-abusive Warden. It's similar in concept to Brimestone, but manages to be unique enoguh so as not to come off as a direct sci-fi version clone. One thing's for sure, at this rate, the show is going to have a very high body count. The cast is very good so far (although it's hard not to think that the producers really wanted Katie Sackhoff but couldn't get her, so they went with this lookalike- but she's done fine in the role so far). "Is he right-handed?" "Yeah." (BANG!) "No more shooting." Anyways, this one looks to be good.
I wasnt overly impressed with the 2 epi so far but I ll watch it for a few more weeks to see if it grows on me more.
How many where? How many went missing? How many are in the story so far? How many have been "captured"?
Is this show worth watching in a "Hey, I'll just randomly watch this because it's yet another short-lived genre series cancelled by Fox but it had some cool stuff in it". I watched Drive literally years after it came out and it was decent. Still considering watching Almost Human too.
Erm, I watched I think the first three episodes of this show, mostly for Sam Neill. But no, I didn't think it was worth going further than that then and I am not sure why anything would have changed with time. I've been to Alcatraz since then, though. Surprisingly awesome place to visit. I expected it to maybe have been made a little cheesy, but the National Parks Service actually has done a great job with the historical tours. And I spent a lot of time at a rotating art exhibit of photos of prisoners of age around the country and their stories while there, too. So no to the show, yes to the actual place. What a random bump.
hahaha, I thought so too. Sometimes just check out the back pages every once in awhile. but it was a zombie thread bump with a legitimate question attached! I'm sure in 4 more years it'll migrate to the back again. Then maybe I'll watch it!
