The murder-bots going on a Jawa slaughter is something that needs to happen in the Aphra comic.

 

This is a total fan-made model, but it shows the difference between the two variants of the Hammerhead-class corvette seen in Rebels & Rogue One. This is from the FFG message boards, so hopefully they see this and understand the desire for ships of this class to be added to Armada.



When I view the boards on FFG's site, its apparent that ALOT of Armada fans are dying for this ship and the MC75 cruiser. I hope FFG listens to them!

I hadn't noticed all the differences. I like the Rogue One design better honestly.

 

I had noticed most of those, but not all. It's really cool that they redesigned it to indicate more combat modifications - gives you a nice sense of progression between Rebels and R1.

 

Given that Armada has dual ships included in the pack, I can see them choosint Hammerhead Transport and Hammerhead corvette, even if the model is only one version.

 

Though the book does offer an interesting contingency plan if you really want to kill him.

 

I just got an Action Fleet A-Wing from an online store in Australia; basically for the same RRP it sold for new when they were first released.

It's pretty much dead to scale with the WotC and FFG minis.

 

I don't play I just love looking a the miniatures

 

While I'd love something obscure like the Dornean gunship as well, the Hammerhead is more iconic thanks the Rebels and Rogue One. It would be nice to have another Rebel small base ship. I'm guessing it would be cheaper (in terms of ship points) than the CR90, probably less armed too. I'd love the MC75 just for the model alone, but I'm not sure how much of a priority it would be for FFG to release a third Mon Cal cruiser.

MC-75 would make sense as a medium base ship for the Rebels. With it's weapons loadout, it would basically be a larger, more durable MC-30 with more squadron capacity.

 

Good point. I assume it would be a large base, solely because the MC75 and the MC80 variants are all +/- 1.2km. Making the MC75 a medium base would be a creative way to solve this.

The jawa would be usable by the Imperial player, as would the Imperial droids. Hera and Chopper can be used by the Rebel players as deployable allies, but you don't play as Hera or Chopper (they can be used in skirmish mode though).

So the Jawa is more a threat if they (Rebels) have R2 and 3P0 on the board for a mission.

 

Yup. If the Imperials can have a 1200m approx. Medium ship (the Interdictor) then the Rebels could get away with one - especially if it has less firepower than its MC80 cousins.

 

On the topic of Armada ships, anyone wondering if FFG has plans for an Super Star Destroyer or Vindicator in the same size as the X-wing Corvette/Transport/etc? Epic Scale Armada

 

That question is like asking about the XG-1 Gunboat for X-wing

And the MC-75 on a medium base would work fine, even use the wibbly stand from the Assault Frigate. When you look at the "1300 meter" Home One on the large base, it is pretty much swamped by the base.

 

So....what's this about the XG-1 Gunboat for X-wing?
