Palpatine decides to use his powers for good and joins the Jedi in ridding the galaxy of the Sith.

 

Grand Admiral Thrawn is in charge of the fleet in The Empire Strikes Back, instead of Admiral Ozzel.

 

The Tantive IV is destroyed before it can launch any escape pods.

When the smoke clears, only Bor Gullet remains. He turns, looks at the camera, and shrugs*

Suddenly, Anakin puts Vader's mask back on and gets up, recovering miraculously. He starts skipping around the Death Star Hangar. "Let's go fly a kite, up to the highest height, let's go fly a kite and send it soaring.."
Luke starts skipping as well and joins in, "up to the atmosphere, up where the air is clear, oh let's go, fly a kite!"

Leia come up to the Death Star and joins them. The father and his children hold hands as they skip through the Death Star hangar.
"Let's go fly a kite, up to the highest height, let's go fly a kite and send it soaring, up through the atmosphere up where the air is clear, oh let's go, fly a kite!"
