I wish I could force someone to sell me their nice farm for cheap. The market really sucks right now and after looking for six months and coming up with nothing, it gets very discouraging. *throws darts at the tv as the stupid weatherman speaks of more rain in the forecast*

Yes. I have horses and other livestock animals, so it's absolutely necessary. Everything is just so *cough*overpriced*cough* that the stuff that comes up in my price range gets sold the instant it hits the market. There isn't a lot being listed, which certainly doesn't help either.

 

That's so cool! There's a lot of farms around where I live, and everyone is into urban farming, too. I hope you find a suitable farm soon!

 

Thanks, corinthia . I do too. All the animals are rescues I've had for many years and they really deserve a good place to call home.

As an apprentice, what would you bring into the Order and what do you look for in a potential master? What is it about the dark side that calls to you?

In response to the followup, I learned that the practice of binding oneself to an inanimate object (or taking possession of another's identity) is called Transfer Essence and was practiced by many Sith, including Ragnos, as a means to achieve immortality. It was a hazardous practice with dire consequences for failure, particularly in the way of taking possession of another with their own will and identity. Transfer Essence inevitably brought about the physical death of the one performing it, but bodies are rightly viewed as vessels; if the spirit successfully took possession of another body, it could live on while its former vessel succumbed to mortality. Sith such as Bane, Kun, and Sidious practiced transfer essence. Darth Plagueis was well aware of the ability, but refrained from dabbling as he was more intent on achieving immortality for both his spirit and his body.

Yes, Nehru_Amidala . I also read that some Sith cloned themselves and kept them dormant in stasis so as to have "clean slates" to transfer themselves onto when they so desired.
