The Saturn V is a thing of beauty, and may very well be my next purchase.

I saw a couple of unofficial versions (some smaller looking, some bigger looking) that included the launch tower and it looks brilliant.

I would definitely recommend getting the Saturn V kit. I built mine on Saturday. It was a fun, challenging, intricate build and the end result is very, very impressive. Lego easily could have charged twice the price for this kit. Its worth absolutely every penny.

I must admit I´ve already been looking for it. The current Star Wars wave is not that interesting imo.

    But the Bounty Hunters pack?

I wish we had Zuckuss though.

I wish we had a 3,000 + detailed Lego model of Lobot's head.

What a strange omission. I thought that perhaps he was in another recent set, but he doesn't seem to have ever had his own minifig.

Exactly. Are we going to ever get one? And if so, in what set?

I like the Bounty Hunter pack because it reminds me of the Bounty Hunter Missions from Lego SW 2. Apparently Zuckuss is only in the Nintendo DS version of the game and not in the PS2 version like I thought I remembered- it was Greedo in his place.

I just picked this up at the weekend:

Goes nicely with its sister hypercar, the Lego P1 McLaren:

So, uh, did not die during the craigslist transaction for this, which is always good, considering it was being sold for only $220.

Coming out in September, this is the third largest set ever, with 4860 pieces. No interest in purchasing it myself, but I bet it's fun to build.

Yeah, there is a film coming out and it's from that.

My kids used to watch it quite alot, but we never bought any sets.

    Ah.

I saw some of the sets on a couple of the lego youtube channels i subscribe to, but it never caught my fancy. I preferred the older Castle Ninja theme.

My daughter has some smaller sets and she watches it all the time.
I look on, shake my head disapprovingly, and privately wonder if the Lego Star Wars shows are really any better.

I don't mind Ninjago, it makes a change from the intense amount of Disney I watch.

This is what I remember from my youth.

I preferred Pirate lego though and the below still has pride of place at home (Bit faded now though)
