Lit Fantasy Flight Games and the Star Wars TCG

That's good, as one of my players is playing a Rebel Spy.

But I wish they'd announce a new sourcebook (i.e. not a career book), as it's been a while.

 

They did! They announced Genesys.

 

I wonder if Genesys will contain guidelines for creating enemies. Though so far I've only played the beginners EOTE game (and realistically I probably won't be able to run a full campaign for quite some time, stupid "real life" obligations), I've done quite a bit of research and jotted down adventure ideas. I really like B2 Super Battle Droids, but if I ever decide to run an adventure where the party runs into old Clone Wars droids, the game apparently only provides stats for B1s, Bx's, and I think Droideka. So if Genesys provides guidelines for creating enemies, or even just gives stats for a generic robot goon, I could always use those. If not, there's always fan made material.

 

I was thinking more for one the Star Wars settings, rather than a generic RPG rulebook.

Would not Hera be a better choice as the cover figure?

 

No. a) Hera and Chopper have been made into Imperial Assault minis, and b) this is the first proper sourcebook to straddle all three roleplaying game lines. The Ghost originally operate like EotE Privateers; they pay down their obligations to Lothal but get Duty to the Rebellion, and Kanan and Ezra both have morality too.

The only other character who embodies all three systems and is also canon (obviously pre-they ruined him with Jedi Outcast etc Kyle is out) is Chirrut, who barely has any Duty or Obligation so...

No, it's in fact the most logical choice.

Sweet! Oh man, I can't wait for stats on Hammerhead corvettes, Dornean gunships, MC75 star cruisers, and stuff like that!

I'll be interested to see if they resolve the issue of Morality not working well with Obligation and Duty, to be honest.

 

I would love to see realistic pics of certain events in CW and Rebels. Along with other EU characters (similar to how Legends did it for certain characters, Cal Omas being the perfect example).

 

Cal Omas might not be the best example. It took like twelve years to get him a picture.

erm we have lots of art for the Rebels cast. Ezra is Ghost crew, and featured in Endless Vigil as is Kanan:



As you can see, there's no improving on some faces.

 

Why do artists have such a hard time getting Carrie's face right? Almost every depiction I've seen on products recently (Black Series, this, and I think something else) has done a remarkably poor job.

 

Got my MM order. 2 Carriers, 2 pairs of Hammerheads, and a Liberty to bring me up to 2. Wish the Hammerhead was packed singly like the CR-90, the amount of packaging wasted for the pair is crazy. They are even in a larger box than the carrier for no real reason.

Decided to do a fleet count of my own, I refuse to tie this to dollars. Or count fighters.

The Prime Day deals weren't great for Armada, but I recall MM having good Thanksgiving and Christmas sales. I'm definitely gonna pick up another pair of Hammerhead corvettes at one point, I'd also love to grab another Arquiten, as I just love the look of those things. I do like my Pelta, so I'm tempted to grab one more.

I swear, if FFG releases the MC75 Profundity and the Dornean Gunship in the next release, I'll die of delight. When this game first came out all those years ago, I would have never imagined in a million years that we'd have as many ships as we do. In terms of Imperial ships, I'd really love the Secutor-class. I'd also love an Imperialized version of the Venator-class, would be great for games set in the early Imperial period.
