So, according to the Star Wars Show we should be getting a Behind The Scenes reel at D23.

What and when is D23?

 

Disney's own comic con, basically sorta, and it's this weekend. And SDCC is next weekend. And, this is just total speculation but I hope it happens, Conan O'Brien is doing shows from SDCC and there's a "surprise film guest cast" show to be announced. Please, oh please, let it be TLJ.

 

Didn't they say that Star Wars wouldn't have an official presence at SDCC this year?

 

New leaked pic of a Praetorian Red Guard

Removed. Note, LEGO has actually asked us not to post any leaked images for their Episode VIII sets, especially pics with the confidential watermark on them.

 

Well ordinary leaks that are not lego is still okay tho, right ? Because images from a flipper machine showing us the preatorian red guards, the porgs, kylo and more just leaked.

I really wish the praetorian guards had some more detailing on their armor, or at least some black to break up the red, without it they look kind of silly IMO, the scalloped look doesn't work for me

Luke and Rey look kick-butt. And I'm really digging Kylo Ren's kneeling-with-saber-down pose. They are really playing up his medieval knight hero look–perhaps hinting at his inner conflict? Or just making an interesting contrast: the villain who looks like a hero.

I just noticed–check out the little birds beside Artoo! They're not convors, but looks like those rumors about the mystical birds may be true.

Honestly, I really like the praetorian guards. While technically it's kinda unnecessary for Snoke to go so far as to have his own set of elite guards in red, I think they're really distinctive-looking, not just an Imperial Guard rehash - the segmented armor being part of that. And I love that they all seem to have their own individual design elements.

 

And got really pissed off that he couldn't find it. Went nuts, stomped it in the process, went more nuts over that so had to slash up several computer consoles.

Kylo, honey. Contacts are more trouble than they're worth. Just get LASIK done and forget about lenses for good.

I like them. They remind me a bit of the Emperor's Sentinels in Dark Empire. Also, i really like the one guy's space kukris.

I love the design of the Praetorians. Maybe my favorite new favorite design - character, ship, alien, otherwise - from all of the Disney movies so far.
